- Abstract
In order to restore the Beeshazar and Associated Lakes in Chitwan-Barandabhar support was provided to remove invasive species like water hyacinth, water cabbage and other species from the complex. This activity was carried out with an active involvement of the local community including Beeshazar lake Management Board (BLMB) and Barandabhar Users Committee. The action plan of Beeshazari lake is also under revision in order to ensure the condition of the lake will be maintained.
